Leg lift – Inner thigh lift

Leg lift

Leg lift surgery reshapes the thighs by reducing excess skin, and in some cases fat, resulting in smoother skin and better-proportioned contours of the thighs and leg. When performing the lift, the patient is under general anesthesia and the surgeon makes an incision from the groin region to just above the knee in order to achieve the desired result. The operation lasts between 2 to 3 hours. Most people are advised to take 7 to 14 days off work for the recovery time with light exercises allowed during this time. During this period, patients must remain in either a reclining or standing position to help the healing process. The majority of patients recover well after a thigh lift, with most returning to all normal activities within four to six weeks. The results of leg lift surgery are visible almost immediately, but it may take several weeks for your final results to fully develop.
